Club Notes - 1st of September 2013

All Ireland Football Final Ticket Draw
Tickets are now available for the Mayo V Dublin All Ireland Senior Football Final draw for two premium tickets from members of our Finance Committee.

Hurling
We beat Glencar-Manor in the U 12 Hurling league final on Tuesday last in Markievicz Park on a score of 0-12 to 0-03, this is the first team from the club to win a county title and is a very positive indication of the strides hurling as made within the club in a short space of time. We lost the U 14 A Hurling Championship semi-final to Tourlestrane on a score of 5-11 to 3-03.

On Saturday last three members of our club Oisin O Reilly, Jack Moran, James O Connor, travelled to Newry with the County U 14 Hurling team which captured the All-Ireland B Division plate title with wins over Tyrone and Mayo. 

Camogie
On Sunday Carol Ann Monaghan and Aisling O Reilly travelled to Carrick on Shannon with the County U 14 Camogie team to participate in the All-Ireland Division 5 blitz.

Football
U16
we play St Farnans at home on Monday 2nd September at 7 PM.

U 14
We play Geevagh at home on 6th September at 7 PM.

Ladies football
U 16 girls beat Calry on a score of 8-08 to 3-11 on Wednesday evening to continue their good run of form.

Intermediate Championship
We play Shamrock Gaels in the Quarter Final on this Saturday evening at 6.30 PM in Bunninadden in a game that will be played with the fervour of a County Final.
