We’re hosting a new boys U14 football blitz at Oxfield this Saturday morning (July 2nd), starting at 10am. As well as the host club, teams from Westport GAA Club, St Molaise Gaels and Calry/St Joseph’s will take part. The organisers are appealing for any parents, who are available, to help out with on Saturday morning from 9:30am. More event details are available on our Facebook page.
The U14s lost out narrowly to Curry in their league play-off last week on a final scoreline of 3-13 to 3-10. They now play Tubbercurry in the Division 1 shield semi-final this Thursday evening in Kilcoyne Park at 7pm.
Well done to our U12 boys football teams who played two very enjoyable matches against Castleconnor at Oxfield last week.
The boys minor footballers play their rescheduled Division 3 league match at home to Enniscrone/Kilglass on Friday evening at 7. That’ll be followed by the juniors who play St Michaels in Division 4 of the league at 8:30pm.
The seniors are due to play St Pat’s in the Benson Cup on Sunday in Oxfield. Throw-in: 12pm.
We wish our senior county players Neil Ewing, Seán Power and Cian Lally every success with the Sligo team in Saturday evening’s All-Ireland football qualifier against Leitrim at Markievicz Park.
A reminder for parents of our younger players that the GAA Nursery will continue at Oxfield for another three Saturdays up to (and including) July 16th. It will then take a summer break before resuming at the end of August.

The club’s next monthly meeting will now take place on Monday night, July 4th, in Oxfield at 9pm.
