County Players
Well done to Neil Ewing and the Sligo senior footballers who recorded their first win in Division 3 of the Allianz football league last Sunday against Wexford. There was disappointment for the Sligo ladies in Division 2 against Tyrone. On the plus side, we want to congratulate Jayne McCormack who is the latest of our club players to be called up to the county panel.

Condolences
Sympathies extended to Jimmy Smith (Carney) and the Smith family, following the death of Jimmy’s father Jim (Ballinode) last week. Jim Smith had a deep affinity with the GAA throughout his life and was a Sligo senior selector in early 1980s.  Condolences also to our club member Liz King and the King Kisby family (Carney), following the recent passing of Liz’s brother Michael in County Clare. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
