There were mixed fortunes for our two main adult football teams at the weekend.
Our women’s intermediate footballers beat St Michael’s on Sunday morning in Oxfield by 5-13 to 1-4 in their Connacht Gold semi-final, to qualify for next Saturday’s county final against Eastern Harps. It will be played in Curry next Saturday (Oct 16th) at 12pm – and will be streamed live by Sligo LGFA.

Meanwhile, our senior men’s footballers lost out to Coolera/Strandhill in last Sunday’s Homeland Sligo SFC semi-final at Markievicz Park, on a final scoreline of 2-13 to 0-8. That result brings the senior men’s team’s championship run to an end for this year.
