Our under-20 footballers are scheduled to play Shamrock Gaels this Saturday (Nov 25th) in their final group match of the ‘A’ championship. Throw-in is at 2pm. We have already qualified for the final, regardless of the result of this game. the U20 ‘A’ final is fixed for Saturday, December 2nd, against either Eastern Harps or St Mary’s. Venue and time tbc.
The Club AGM for 2023 will take place on Sunday, December 10th, in the Old School, Rathcormac, at 7pm sharp.
Save the date: The DRP Juvenile Awards evening will take place in Rathcormac NS on Saturday, January 13th. More details to follow.
The club will also be holding an end-of-year Social over the Christmas period (end of December) to mark the key achievements from the 2023 season. Further details on this event will be published soon.
Last Friday night saw the 2023 Summerhill College senior gaelic footballers receive their Connacht Colleges winners medals at a special ceremony in the Glasshouse Hotel. Well done to the DRP contingent who were part of that team. Good luck to this season’s Summerhill College senior gaelic footballers, who begin the defence of their Connacht Colleges ‘A’ title on Wednesday with a group match against St Jarlath’s College in Tuam (12:30pm).
