to Micheal Carroll, Eamon Keane, Eamon O’Mahony and the Sligo minor footballers on the Connacht Shield final success against Leitrim at Markievicz Park last Sunday.

There were mixed fortunes for our adult women’s football teams last Sunday morning against St Nathy’s. Our Division 1 team were beaten in their final league game of the season – while our junior side beat Nathy’s to qualify for a Shield semi-final next Sunday morning against Eastern Harps in Oxfield. Best of luck to the team in that game.

Congrats to Rathcormac NS girls team on reaching the Sligo Cumann na mBunscol large schools football final after their semi-final win against Scoil Ursula last week. The finals day takes place at Markievicz park on Saturday, June 10th.

Hard luck to our boys U18 minor footballers who lost out to St Mary’s in last Tuesday’s ‘A’ league semi-final.

The draw for the Homeland men’s senior club football championship has put DRP in Group 2 along with Tourlestrane, Shamrock Gaels, Tubbercurry and Coolera/Strandhill. The senior championship will start on August 19th.

Our junior men’s team will contest the junior ‘B’ football championship this year.

We wish Joe Campbell a speedy recovery from the injury he sustained in training last weekend.
