Our senior men’s footballers went clear at the top of Division 2 last Sunday with a 1-15 to 2-9 win over Geevagh at Oxfield, which is their third win on the trot. They travel to Keash this Friday evening to play Eastern Harps at 8pm.

The junior men’s footballers recorded a 4-15 to 3-12 win over Tubbercurry in Division 4 last Friday evening. 

Our women’s intermediate footballers beat St Pat’s last Sunday morning in Group 2 of the All-County League by 4-22 to 4-9. Good luck to Sinead Regan, Izzy Henry, Maeve Casserly and Caomihe Connor who are part of the Sligo LGFA team who begin their All-Ireland junior football championship campaign this Sunday afternoon against Down at Markievicz Park (2pm).

Best wishes to Cian Lally, Eoghan Smith and Sligo men’s footballers against Dublin in Cavan this Sunday in the championship.

The Club Lotto Jackpot now stands at €2000 this Thursday. Make sure you get your entry in on drp.gaa.ie. 
The numbers drawn last week were: 5, 13, 18 and 22. There was no Jackpot or Match 3 winner. The Lucky Dip recipient of €25 was Austin O’Callaghan.

Our girls under-12 football teams will take part in this Saturday’s Sligo LGFA Festival of Football at Scarden. Team 2 play St Farnan’s at 3pm. Team 1 play St Nathy’s at 4:30pm.

The Rathcormac NS girls team – Sligo Cumann na mBunscol finalists 2023

Rathcormac NS girls (pictured) played their hearts out in last Saturday’s Sligo Cumann na mBunscol final at Markievicz Park. Congrats to Collooney NS on their win but the Rathcormac girls can hold their heads out. Thanks to all the parents and club supporters who turned out to cheer the team on in such large and colourful numbers.
