Congrats to all our medal recipients and award winners at Thursday night’s End-of-Year Club Social at County Sligo Golf Club in Rosses Point.

Our men’s under-19 footballers received their county ‘A’ championship winners medals – while our junior men’s footballers collected their Division 4 league and Connacht Gold Junior ‘B’ championship winners medals.

Outgoing DRP women’s team manager Des Henry received a presentation from our adult team club captains Michelle McNamara and Elaine Flanagan.

The Carol McGowan Memorial Perpetual Cup for ‘Young Hurler of the Year) was presented by the Gallagher family to Thomas Davis on the night.

Well done to all our Player of the Year award recipients.

Special congratulations to Club PRO and Saturday morning All-Stars coach Austin O’Callaghan, who collected the Clubperson of the Year award for 2023 – some 35 years after his dad Austin (Snr) won the club’s inaugural Clubperson of the Year award in 1988. The John Haran Perpetual Cup, named after one of the club’s founders, was presented to Austin by John’s son and daughter, Michael Haran and Helen Devaney.
