Our Juvenile Awards Ceremony takes place this Saturday (Jan 13th) at Rathcormac Hall at 4:30pm. The event will acknowledge the efforts and achievements of our girls and boys teams from U12 through to Minor. Our special guest will be Caroline Currid. All are welcome.

A special mention for our dual player Donnchadh O’Brien, who scored 1-1 for Sligo in his senior intercounty debut on New Year’s Day in the Connacht Hurling League game v Roscommon at the Air Dome.

We had two club players involved in Sligo senior gaelic footballers opening competitive match of the New Year, against Roscommon in the Connacht FBD quarter-final against Roscommon last Friday. They were Cian Lally and Eoghan Smith who both got game time.

We held our adult end-of-year Club Social at the Golf Club in Rosses Point over the festive period.

The club’s junior men’s footballers were presented with their league and championship winners medals – while the under-19 footballers collected their county ‘A’ title medals.

We extend our deepest sympathies to the Tolan and Johnston families following the passing of Eileen Tolan, Teesan, last week.
